Unwind on our Jeanneau Sun Odyddey 39i as you depart Puerto Colón Marina with your professional skipper at 10:00 am we set sail along the spectacular Southwest coast of Tenerife, watching Pilot Whales and Dolphins and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

Dropping anchor in the clear bay of Masca with the breathtaking cliffs of los Gigantes as your backdrop, you can swim and snorkel in the clear blue water and discover the underwater life. Your skipper will serve your freshly prepared vip buffet and you can sample Canarian Wines as well as a selection of fresh fruit.

From the bay we sail the 20 mile crossing, a real Sailing experience as we pass the acceleration zone to the beautiful harbour of San Sebastian in La Gomera arriving around sunset.

After freshening up, a short walk to the town reveals a selection of restaurant and cafes where you can enjoy the local relaxing atmosphere. Try a juicy steak or freshly caught local fish!

You have the option to spend the night on board, relax with candle light on decks under a moonlit sky, enjoy a board game perhaps, another drink or two and stay in your own private cabin. If you don’t wish to stay on board choose between a one night stay in a four star Luxury Hotel with swimming pool, beautiful gardens and a breathtaking view over the Atlantic Ocean or a Family run cosy Hotel close to the Marina.

After a good night rest your Yacht will once again set sail to discover the delights of the west coastline of La Gomera and an incredible view of Mount Teide on the Island of Tenerife, the highest mountain in Spain.

Throughout the return journey you will have the chance to take the helm and practice your sailing skills or simply relax an deck and enjoy the sun and Ocean. A selection of local cheeses and Serrano ham will keep your hunger at bay until we arrive back in Puerto Colón Marina at approximately 5:00 pm. Does your boat need to pass the inspection (ITB)? At Total Marine we can provide full assistance so you don’t have to worry about your boat not passing the test. The expiring date is shown on the Certificado de Navigabilidad, and depending on the size of the boat  the inspection should be done every 5 years. Only Spanish Flag boats have to go through this process. You must provide the following certificate: Boat insurance, Certificado de  navigabilidad, hoja de asiento and ID of the owner.

The Inspector will need to check the hull so the boat has to be lifted out of the water, it is important that the hull looks clean and in good shape, no sign of blisters and  Osmosis. Anods should be replaced every year and well connected to the negative pole of your battery, seacocks should be in good conditions and easy to open and close. Make sure that all the navigation lights are working, the anchor and chain should be rust free and the windless, if you have one, has to be working properly. Your vessel must Carry a VHF DSC radio and has to be connected to a GPS or a GPS antenna, MMSI number (Boat identity number) we can provide.

If your boat has a sea water toilet, this has to be connected to a separate waste tank, if your boat doesn’t have one we can provide a full installation. Gas bottles should be fitted in a separate locker on deck and a gas detector has to be installed near the cooker.  

Bilge pumps and float switches have to be working and properly connected, your bilge should have no signs of oil or other liquids.

Safety equipment should be complete and updated, a full check list can be supplied as equipment depends on the size of your boat  and  navigation area.
